Student life is a tough one. Im at the point where i have little down time and just enough time to get eight hours of sleep when juggling classes and softball practice. This doesn't include shopping, eating, hangout out with my friends....school....stinks.
i've realized that it is also hard to keep a christian heart through it all. last sunday we talked about the seven deadly sins. The mother, of all of them, is pride.
PRIDE:
When you think that the world revolves around you, when you take credit for things and also add on to make your self sound better. All people who read this and thought..."oh man...i do that.." All that you need...is humility. it is ok to be wrong, nobody is perfect, we are only human. so take compliments with a grain of salt.

Isn't God Good?
My God-sighting of the Day:
Today, while I was in class, we were learning about the different religions and cultures around the world, and how the world was created for each culture. Being a devoted Christian, and knowing how the world was created based on my culture, i noticed A LOT of similarities. Isn't God good? He spread his love and knowledge around to the whole world, giving everybody the chance to see him in all of his glory. Even though some religions have multiple gods, there is always one that stands above them all. Isn't that kind of like....how my God stands above the other things i might idolize as a sinning human? What do you think?

Better the poor whose walk is blameless than the rich whose way are perverse.

First Revelation
I have come to realize that my other blogs.....are quite foolish, silly, maybe stupid. But that is the fun of living. Another fun thing is to spread the knowledge you have. I know in one of my other blogs i mentioned that i would not be expressing my religion...but that is what i basically live by and i will limit it to this blog, so if you wish to not read it, so be it.
I have always been a church goer, angel face. But let me tell you, it is TOUGH being a devoted Christian. First and foremost....you have the temptations, those are the worst. There will always be people trying to get you to do things that are wrong. It is hard not to crumble under peer pressure, but the Lord saved me from the hateful workings of Satan.
Living in the society of the South, there is plenty of alcohol and chewing tobacco. Surprisingly enough, there is enough weed to mail to your long lost cousin in China also. It is quite sad to see someone you knew as a kid....doing those terrible, life-threatening things....pulls at the heart strings. But knowing God and knowing that he will pull you through in the end has helped me realize what to choose, because i want Him to be proud of my choices as a Christian.
Have you ever had the feeling.......something is wrong.......i have. Most of the time, it's because i know i have done something wrong in the eyes of God. I hate this feeling....i just want him to be happy with me. thats all. All i had to do was repent and say...."dear God....thank you...for everything....please forgive me of the many sins that i have committed........amen"
So...i guess that being a Christian isn't all that difficult...when you know what to do and what to look for. Just remember God loves you no matter what.

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light."
